Your entire back office,
handled by one team.
Bookkeeping, reconciliation, tax, payroll, year-end and advisory — handled by one team, on software we build and set up for you at no charge. Your books stay current as the month runs, instead of being reconstructed after it ends.
Books & reconciliation
Monthly bookkeeping
Categorized transactions, reconciled accounts, and a monthly close you can actually read.
Catch-up and clean-up
Months or years behind? We bring the books current, then keep them that way.
General account reconciliation
Bank, credit card, loan and intercompany accounts agreed to statement — every month, not every year.
Trust account reconciliation (law firms)
Trust books kept to your Law Society's rules and reconciled monthly. Certified on LEAP Legal, and we have trained 300+ legal professionals on it.
Year-end adjustments
Accruals, prepaids, depreciation and shareholder accounts posted properly, so the year closes on final numbers rather than estimates.
Tax, payroll & filings
T2 corporate tax
Year-end financial statements, adjusting entries, and CRA E-FILE through the authorized channel.
T1 personal tax
Express Notice of Assessment, unlimited T-slips, and the corporate return kept consistent with it.
GST / HST returns
Filed on time and reconciled to your books — not estimated off the bank balance.
Payroll
Run weekly or biweekly, with T4s and T4As prepared and filed at year-end.
Government remittances
Source deductions and instalments calculated, scheduled, and tracked to every due date.
CRA correspondence
Notices, reviews, appeals — we correspond with CRA so you don't have to.
Systems & setup
Accounting software setup — free
No chargeWe build your books on the VertAcc Platform at no charge: chart of accounts, opening balances, bank feeds and reporting, configured to your business.
Accounting software migration
Coming off QuickBooks, a legacy desktop system or a spreadsheet. Your history comes with you, the balances tie out, and your team gets trained on the new setup.
Advisory
Business planning
The plan and the numbers underneath it — projections, unit economics, and financing-ready statements that hold up to a lender's questions.
Budgeting + forecasting
Where the cash is going, where it should go, and what next quarter looks like if nothing changes.
Incorporation
Federal or provincial, handled in-house. No lawyer required for standard formations.
Restructuring
Reorganize the books — and sometimes the company.
Everything above,
packaged into one subscription.
Your books, filings, documents and reporting run on the VertAcc Platform — accounting software we build and operate ourselves. One competitive monthly subscription covers the platform and the team working in it, and the setup costs you nothing.
Setup is free
Chart of accounts, opening balances, bank feeds and reporting, configured to your business by the people who will be keeping your books. Not a self-serve trial you are left to figure out.
No second bill from a software company
The platform is ours. There is no separate licence to buy, no per-seat charge arriving from somewhere else, and no annual price rise you find out about from an email.
Your accountant works in the same system you do
You are not emailing files back and forth or waiting for a month-end export. You see the same books we do, as they are being kept.
VertAcc AI, on your own numbers
Ask what changed this month, what a figure is made of, or what is coming due, in plain English. Anything that moves money stops for your approval first.

Don’t take our word for it.
Take theirs.
Five stars, and not one review below it. Every review behind that rating is public on our Google Business profile, left under the reviewer’s own name by businesses we do this exact work for — not a selected quote or a testimonial we wrote up.
No hourly meter,
no surprise invoices.
We don’t publish a rate card, because an honest fee depends on your transaction volume, how many entities you run, and what shape your books are in the day we open them. What we will commit to before you sign anything is how the fee behaves.
Which of those three actually apply to you is usually decided by the state of the books. The check below is the fastest way to find out.
Not every business is at the same point.
Some are starting out, some are coming off a hard year, some need the whole back office from day one and some need three things done properly. Tell us where you actually are. We would rather build something you can carry now and grow into than quote a number that ends the conversation — and when the business does grow, we would like to still be the ones keeping the books.
Ask for a custom packageA fixed monthly fee, agreed before we start.
You will know what the year costs before you sign anything. The number comes out of a twenty-minute conversation about your volume and your entities — not an hourly meter running quietly in the background.
Calls and emails are not billable.
Ask the question when you have it, not when you have saved up enough of them to justify the call. You will never find a five-minute phone call itemised on an invoice.
One engagement, not four line items.
Bookkeeping, filings, CRA correspondence and the platform are a single fee. A lot of firms bill those separately, which is the reason their quote looks smaller than their invoice does.
Reviewed once a year, in writing.
Your fee does not move mid-year because your transaction count ticked up or a month ran heavy. If it needs to change it changes at renewal, in writing, and you see it coming.
Your books are yours.
If you decide to leave, you leave with a clean file and every document we hold for you. No exit fee, no hostage data, no argument about who owns the ledger.
The model is built around you, not dropped on top of you.
Fixed does not mean rigid. What sits inside the fee, how it is staged, and what you start with are all yours to shape — the number stops moving once it is agreed, not before.
Find out where your
books actually stand.
Ten questions a competent accountant would ask you in a first meeting. Answer them honestly and you get a straight read on what is current, what has drifted, and what to deal with first — and that read is yours to keep, whether you call us or not.
Ten questions
Answer honestly — nobody sees this but you unless you bring it to us.
A self-assessment, not an audit or an assurance engagement. It is there to tell you where to look first — bring it to the call and we will go through it properly.
Common questions, straight answers.
How do you price?
Fixed, monthly, and agreed before we start — and the model itself is built around your business rather than dropped on top of it. We do not run an hourly meter, and calls and emails are never billable. If you are early, tight on cash, or rebuilding, tell us: we would rather structure something you can carry and grow into than quote a number that ends the conversation.
Why isn't there a price list on this page?
Because an honest fee depends on your transaction volume, how many entities you run, and what shape your books are in the day we open them — and a rate card that ignores all three is a number you would have to renegotiate anyway. You get a firm figure in a twenty-minute conversation, and it is fixed once agreed.
Do I have to subscribe, or can I pay for a single service?
Both work. Subscribe monthly to have the whole back office — software included — handled as one package, or pay only for the piece you need: a single return, a clean-up, or a payroll run.
Do we have to pay for accounting software on top of your fee?
No. Your books run on the VertAcc Platform, which we build and own, and setup is free — chart of accounts, opening balances, bank feeds and reporting configured to your business. There is no separate software licence to buy and no per-seat bill arriving from somewhere else.
We're on another accounting system or a spreadsheet. Can you move us?
Yes — that is one of our core services. Your history comes with you, the balances tie out to the day you switch, and we train your team on the new setup. We are Elite-tier QuickBooks ProAdvisors, so we know exactly what breaks in a migration and how to prevent it.
We're behind on our books. Can you catch us up?
Yes. Catch-up and clean-up is core work for us, however far back it goes. We get you current, post the year-end adjustments properly, then keep you on a clean monthly close so it does not happen again.
Can you handle a law firm's trust account?
Yes. Trust books are kept to your Law Society's rules and reconciled monthly rather than at year-end, with trust entries permanent by design — a wrong one is reversed, never deleted, which is what an auditor expects to find. We are certified on LEAP Legal and have trained more than 300 legal professionals on it.
Do you deal with CRA letters and reviews?
Yes. Notices, reviews, appeals — we correspond with CRA on your behalf so you don't have to.
Ready to put your
business on autopilot?
Twenty minutes, no charge. We will look at how your books are kept today and tell you exactly what we would do differently — and that advice is yours to keep, whether you hire us or not.
